NZ Update

Hi guys, hope you are working hard!

Wellington
We caught the Interislander ferry to the North Island. My favourite activity in Wellington was going to see how the Thunderbirds are made. Some of it was made of household junk. They were very clever and imaginative. We also saw the Beehive and went to Te Papa and the war museum. Te Papa had some really good statues that looked so lifelike but they were too big to be real.

Rotorua
We went to the museum. The glass waka was beautiful. We also dug holes in the sand to make our own hot water spa, and went to Wai-o-Tapu thermal park to see bubbling mud and boiling water. The yellow stuff was sulphur. We also went to the Waitomo caves and saw glow worms. The Māori name is titiwai. Then we went to the whakarewarewa Māori village and saw a show. We also went on a tour and there were square hangis.

Auckland
HI. Now I’m at Avondale motor camp in Auckland. I’ve been in the Auckland sky tower. I could see the whole of Auckland from there. I saw some people sky diving, and it was at level 52 and 53 the start of the sky dive. Today we went to Rangitoto island on a yellow and black ferry.

Next we fly to Brisbane!
